nwatson: ayyame cuisine is in the Village !

We were lucky enough to try out ayyame?restaurant , ayyame serves all kinds of Middle Eastern food but with an Arabic Twist to it .. The Twist is that its middle eastern with a mix of Regional Arabic Cuisine !

Ayyame was introduced in Marina Cresent , but now they opened their new branch at the Village , I?ve never been to that area so I was shocked when we reached there , the place didn?t look like Kuwait at all , and I told 7aji we should come here more often!

The Place , environment is not what we usually see here , I Loved the Music and Deejay Mix of English + Arabic with a techno beat , loud like the way I love it

We were greeted by the lovely organizers , then we headed to our table and saw all kinds of Dips , they introduced us to each one , they looked good so couldn?t wait to try them..

There was Muhammara? ( Syrian) .. Hummus ( Lebanese) .. Labneh with red pepper oil ( Lebanese) Pumpkin dip ( Libyan) and Yereesh ( Kuwaiti)? Artichoke and Spinach dip ( Emirati) and last but not least and My Favorite dip of the day was the Spinach hummus ( Lebanese with a mix of Iranian style) it was really good !

Some Drinks Tests, We tried the Rahash Ice cream drink and the Lemonade , 7aji loved the Rahash , I loved the Lemonade

After the dips we? tried some quick bites like the Halloumi sticks , Cheesh Boraq ( Turkish) We couldn?t stop .. they were small and yummy!

For the salads we ordered the Falafel Salad !! IT WAS BITES OF FALAFEL HEAVEN ! I LOVED IT !

The falafel was fresh and the sauce tasted goooooooooood , whatever it was it was working for me , and at last for the first time , I eat already pealed tomatoes , they saved me a lot of hassle since I don?t like the skin , GREAT DISH ! ( for the tomato haters you can order it without) But this is a must try salad !

After finishing up our yummy salad , we were so ready for our main dish , but we started of with some Adas SOUP

It was nice and warm !

ayyame is mostly famous for thir Tabliyas, so since I?m a chicken lover I decided I wanted to go with the all kinds of chicken Tabliya

It was yum but I prefer it with less sauce It tasted so fresh out of the oven and the breast was not too soft? not too crispy !

The food kept on coming before the main course !

Imsakhaan ? This was also one of my Favorites , I dipped it with Hummus , I dip Hummus with everything !

We tried the Keba Ib Laban as well which was good.

We were too full for the main dish but we still managed !

We had The Persian Kabab !

We were too full for Dessert , But will definately go back and try the Rice and date Pudding

We had a taste of their MOHALABIYA though , and Oh MY it was with Gamerdeen !! My favorite , I loved the combination alot ! Must Try !

Dates with coffee ? Too much coffee for me :p Caffeinated though might Love ! it was like a coffee shot !

We ended our night with Cinnamon bites , 7aji Loved that it was not too SWEET !

We had some dishes to go.. after all this food .. Hello Weight Gain !
