(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) ? UK managed hosting provider Timico Technology Group announced on Monday it has acquired unified services provider Redwood Telecommunications. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Since 1992, Redwood has combined best of breed technology to provide voice and data solutions for businesses in the financial services, professional services, insurance and media sector with a host of UK-based and international business clients.
The company?s voice and data communications infrastructures services which include data network services, fixed line voice delivery, and unified mobile voice and data service will complement Timico?s existing managed hosting services.

Timico Technology Group provides hosting, mobile and IP connectivity solutions for multi-site businesses. Since being founded in 2004 the company has consistently been one of the fastest growing privately owned companies in the UK technology sector.
The hosting provider recently opened a new tier III data center in Newark, UK to provide hosted IT solutions to customers across the Timico group, which now includes four service provider brands, including Timico, Newnet, Powernet and now Redwood.
